The Constitution of the Australian Institute of Kinesiologists Ltd (AIK Ltd)., known as ‘The Institute’ or ‘AIK Ltd’, refers to the Board of Directors as the National Executive. Members of the National Executive Board are expected to uphold the policies and operations of the AIK Ltd in the best interest of Kinesiology, Kinesiology practitioners and its members; to uphold the AIK Ltd referendum voting and democratic decision-making procedures; and to assist in the formation of policies, procedures and share the actioning of its decisions to the membership. Most of all, its responsibility is to ensure that the AIK Ltd is successfully managed both administratively and financially to deliver membership benefits. Other important responsibilities are to set and review organizational strategy and objectives, ensure processes are in place and maintain control, including compliance and risk management.
