AIK Ltd Australian Membership

To apply for an AIK Ltd  – Australian Membership (see below the different membership types and information).

Click on the Apply Today button (below), and you will be taken to an online application form.  Next step, is to complete the form and upload your documentation – kinesiology documents, current first aid, current insurance policy, current WWC – if applicable.   If you need insurance – you may wish to review IME – Insurance https://www.imeinsurance.com.au/kinesiology  as an option for you.    Payment can be made by credit card (a credit card surcharge will be applied), when you apply online.  If you have any questions, please email: registrar@aik.org.au

AIK Ltd Membership Levels and Membership Requirements

Once your form has been submitted and payment has been made, you will receive an email confirming the submission of your application. Your application will be reviewed by the AIK Ltd Membership Registration Board (AIKMRB) and upon approval you will receive another confirmation email. Your AIK Ltd Membership Certificate and Code of Ethics and Conduct Certificate will be supplied to you once your application has been approved by the AIK Ltd.

An Associate Membership Level is a member who may hold qualifications in associated supportive professional fields including Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapies, Counselling, Naturopathy, Nutritionist, Psychology, Remedial Massage, Clinical Hypnotherapists, Information Technology, Law, Business Management etc. This membership level is also available to members who have retired or semi-retired as a clinical practitioner in Kinesiology.

An Associate Professional – Instructor Membership Level is a member who holds qualifications as an Kinesiology Instructor/Teacher who may not be a clinical practitioner member of the AIK Ltd.  This membership requirement is an application with supporting evidence of their Kinesiology qualifications, Teaching qualifications, Current First Aid, Current Insurance Policy and WWC if applicable.  Here is the membership application form Associate Professional – Instructor Australian Application Form 2025 – please complete and include evidence by emailing the registrar@aik.org.au.

Both these membership levels are awarded support from the AIK Ltd and a copy of the AIK Ltd Connector and E-News. Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform. These membership levels are not entitled to vote or required to provide CPE points for their renewal/recognition.

A member who is currently studying Kinesiology with an accredited AIK Ltd training organisation. This membership is not available for a person who has established Kinesiology qualifications such as a Certificate in Kinesiology.  Student members are required to provide a current First Aid Certificate. This member is awarded support from the AIK Ltd and a copy of the AIK Ltd Connector and AIK Ltd Events.   Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform. This membership level is not entitled to vote.

A member who has completed Kinesiology qualifications and are in the process of operating a clinical practice and may be furthering their qualifications. This member is awarded support from the AIK Ltd and a copy of the AIK Ltd Connector and AIK Ltd Events. Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform. This membership level is entitled to voting rights.

Please note AIK Ltd acknowledges that courses will have more hours than required or combination of hours required per the separate sectors. Must be operating a clinical practice. This membership level is entitled to hold a position on NE Board if elected. This member is awarded support from the AIK Ltd, free listing on the AIK Ltd Practitioner Directory, and a copy of the AIK Ltd Connector and AIK Ltd Events. Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform.  This membership level is entitled to voting rights.

This member is awarded support from the AIK Ltd, a free listing on the AIK Ltd Practitioner Directory, and a copy of AIK Ltd Connector and AIK Ltd Events.  Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform.  This membership level is entitled to voting rights.

This member must have held a Registered Professional Membership Level with the AIK Ltd for 5 continuous years as a minimum. They must have held at least one NE Board position for one full year at the level of President, Secretary or Treasurer. The member must have published a minimum of 3 articles published in the E-Indicator or its equivalent and have presented at an AIK Ltd Conference. This membership level is entitled to hold a position on National Executive Board if elected. This member is awarded support from the AIK Ltd, a free listing on the AIK Ltd Practitioner Directory, and a copy of the AIK Ltd Connector and AIK Ltd Events. Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform.   This membership level is entitled to voting rights.

The membership level is appointed by the National Executive Board of the AIK Ltd and must have been an Associate Fellow Member for 5 years. This membership level is entitled to hold a position on National Executive Board if elected. This member is awarded support from the AIK Ltd, a free listing on the AIK Ltd Practitioner Directory, and a copy of the AIK Ltd Connector and AIK Ltd Events. Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform.  This membership level is entitled to voting rights.

The membership level is appointed by the National Executive Board of the AIK Ltd. This membership level is entitled to hold a position on National Executive Board if elected. This member is awarded support from the AIK Ltd, a free listing on the AIK Ltd Practitioner Directory, and a copy of the AIK Ltd Connector and AIK Ltd Events.  Access to the AIK Ltd Members Only ‘Connect’ Social Platform.  This membership level is entitled to voting rights.
